Luka Zadar d.d. is a leading company in the management and development of maritime terminals on the Adriatic coast, with special emphasis on the cargo port of Gaženica.

Position
The area of the industrial-storage and cargo port of Gaženica is optimally situated in relation to the city and the main traffic routes of road, rail and sea traffic. The entire space is morphologically a unique entity characterized by inherited contents.
The port of Zadar is connected by the modern highway Zadar-tunnel Sveti Rok-Bosiljevo-Zagreb, and from Zagreb by highway with all neighboring European countries. Luka Zadar d.d. is directly connected by the four-lane road D424 Zadar, which is 17.6 km long (the port of Gaženica) – which connects to the highway junction Zadar II.
The port of Gaženica is the only port on the Croatian coast from which special cargo (stands and propellers for wind power plants) can be further delivered – thanks to the fact that the expressway descends directly into the port, and currently the construction of wind power plants is intensified along the entire coast.
The company is connected to the region by railway (Lika line), and from Zagreb to all neighboring European countries. The Lika line: Zadar – Knin – Gospić – Karlovac – Zagreb is 424 km long, the maximum axle pressure is 18 MP, and the height is 794 meters.
